Management Accountant

• Salary: £40-45,000 dependent on experience.

Reed Accountancy is looking for a Management Accountant to serve as a pivotal Finance leader and Business Partner for our client’s expanding enterprise. In this role, you will oversee all accounting and finance functions within your designated area, including reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and providing decision support.

Day to day of the role:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, maximise cashflow, and manage costs to mitigate risks.
• Reporting and Analysis: Produce monthly reports with variance analysis and report on cashflow and profitability.
• Process Improvement: Review and suggest enhancements for financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with internal teams and serve as a key figure during the annual audit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Financial Expertise and Analytical Skills: Qualified or part-qualified in ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, with strong Microsoft Excel skills and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Organisational and Leadership Skills: Effective organization and planning, ability to delegate, coach, and motivate others, and a disciplined approach to meeting deadlines.
• Communication and Collaboration: Collaborative communication style, customer-focused approach, and a proactive attitude towards learning and improving business operations.
