Job description:We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a sewing machinist apprentice. In this role, you will work alongside experienced craftsman and technicians to learn all details of traditional and modern sewing techniques. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cutting and sewing fabrics for upholstered furniture pieces,
- learning how to operate and maintain sewing equipment.
- Learn the skills and techniques involved in the assembly of furniture, including piping, making zips, borders and top sewing.
- Understanding quality control procedures and ensuring products meet company standards.
- Strong attention to detail required with manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Have a passion and commitment to learn all aspects of Sewing to support the development of skills.
