Maidstone Central Primary Care Network is a network of NHS Medical Practices working together to improve the health and welfare of our registered population. Our member practices include The Medical Centre, Bower Mount Medical Practice, The Vine Medical Practice and Brewer Street Surgeries which provide primary care to residents in the Maidstone Kent area.

Our organisation is seeking an experienced administrator to join our team to assist the Senior Primary Care Network Administrators with administration tasks relating to the operation of Maidstone Central Primary Care Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Our aim is to increase efficiencies across the Primary Care Network working for the improvement of patient care and treatment of long term conditions. The ideal candidate should ideally have a background in the medical sector and have excellent communication skills.

NHS experience would be an advantage for this role as would experience of current clinical IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for the PCN Hub
  • Organisation of clinics
  • Liaise with the wider PCN team to ensure excellent communication
  • Assist the Senior Primary Care Network administrator and Clinical Director with any additional administrative tasks

Person Specification:

  • Good IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office software
  • NHS Experience is preferred however we would consider applicants without any NHS experience
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable experience:

  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous Primary Care employment
  • Previous Administrative experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
