The team:

The Business Development team at Slerp is a small, fast-paced, high-performing group responsible for sourcing and signing up the most important restaurant partners to Slerp. This team is central to Slerp’s continued growth. We work closely with senior leadership, operations, product and finance teams both internally and externally to ensure growth for Slerp and our restaurant partners.

The role:

The Senior Manager, Business Development role will be responsible for identifying, engaging and acquiring scaling SME and mid-market restaurant partners across the UK. This role will begin as an individual contributor but will be responsible for helping build our sales strategy and operations to scale the business.

We expect this role to be a combination in terms of time spent in-office and at partner sites/offices.

  • Sell restaurant owners on the value of partnering with Slerp and help them understand the value of our full suite of services (e.g. online ordering, loyalty, delivery)
  • Lead complex negotiations to structure industry-leading and mutually beneficial economic terms
  • Excel in a fast deal cycles and closing new business within a few weeks
  • Use creative strategies in sales processes and prospect outreach
  • Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and the rest of the organisation
  • Mentor and collaborate with teammates on how to be the best version of themselves after establishing yourself in the role

Requirements
  • You have 4+ years of experience in a closing sales role or similar
  • You excel in a fast moving deal cycle
  • You have experience in exceeding sales goals / targets
  • You have experience selling multi-product solutions
  • You approach challenges from the fundamentals
  • You express creative sales tactics to engage with prospects

  • Up to £60k base salary with Stock Options + uncapped OTE
  • Flexible Working - Our office is based in Shoreditch, London. This role requires the candidate to be at the office at least 3 days a week, with other days flexible pending requirements.
