Francis Holland Sloane Square is a highly sought-after independent selective school for around 590 senior pupils aged 11 to 18 (HMC and GSA). Pupils have the opportunity to develop their sporting talents in a number of fields, representing the school in regular netball, hockey, swimming, tennis and cricket fixtures against other schools.
The Appointment
We have a brand-new role at Francis Holland Sloane Square to work as part of the Sports Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and well-qualified coach to join the team in a vibrant and forward-thinking environment. We welcome applicants from diverse sporting backgrounds, particularly those with experience in coaching one or more of our core sports, including netball, football, hockey, cricket and/or tennis.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an innovative curriculum and co-curricular programme, helping pupils progress across all areas of sport and physical wellbeing. The coach will be expected to actively contribute to the co-curricular sports programme, ensuring pupils receive high-quality coaching and opportunities for competitive play.
While the successful candidate will primarily be involved in the afternoon curriculum and co-curricular programme, including day tournaments, after-school training, and weekend fixtures, there may also be opportunities to contribute to the curriculum PE lessons in the morning.
