Health Safety Advisor Civils
Understanding of NWR Rail standards
- Fully understand and support delivery of UK HSE Strategy
- Contribute to the implementation delivery and review of the Zero Harm Action Plan and Sustainability Action plan at business and or project level
- Support the delivery of the HSE Key Performance Indicators at project business level
- Provide expert support to investigate accidents incidents and near miss events in accordance with company Standards and company requirements
- In conjunction with operational management complete a local and bespoke risk-based Service Level Agreement with each project which is kept under quarterly review
- Undertake regular site inspections as per project risk matrix
- Produce formal reports using the Project Portal to record planned unplanned HSE inspections which review project performance against the UK HSE Regulatory Framework UK Business Management System requirements
- Undertake regular checks on Health and Safety Risk Management ensuring that appropriate risks and opportunities have been identified and are being implemented
- Provide advice and guidance to the construction and engineering team Assisting with writing risk assessments and reviewing methodologies
