Group Management Accountant
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5-hour week, Monday-Friday
Flexibility: Option to work one day per week from home, fixed day
Contract: Permanent

This company is a fast-growing, multi-channel retailer with operations across seven trading entities under the same group. These entities span a range of retail channels including e-commerce, marketplace, and wholesale. Their products range from affordable home appliances to specialist commercial appliances.
Our client is looking for a proactive and commercially aware Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in financial reporting, planning, and decision-making. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to the financial success of a growing company.You will be responsible for preparing management accounts, financial analysis, and ensuring financial controls are in place to support strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of accurate management accounts for all 7 entities, meeting Group timetable
- Completion of a range of Balance Sheet Reconciliations for review
- Reviewing monthly overheads
- Reconcile all ecommerce platform sales and checks on sales at month end (Platforms include Amazon, eBay, Debenhams, B&Q)
- Submission and reconciliation of VAT returns for the Group
- Assist in the preparation of any ad hoc reports for external & internal purposes
- Assist Finance Manager and Finance Director with forecasting and budgeting
- Assist Finance Manager with external audit queries
- Mentor and develop other members of the Finance Team
- Any relevant ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Team
- Newly qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or ‘finalist’ would be considered
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Takes pride in their work
