Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale, £31,650 to £49,084.
About the Role:Teaching Personnel is seeking a Fully Qualified Maths Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in Trafford. This is a temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to become part of a supportive team and transition into a permanent role after the initial period.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop their mathematical skills and understanding. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
- Collaborating with the school’s leadership team and other staff
- Keeping up to date with developments in mathematics education
- Offering support to students both inside and outside the classroom to help them build confidence and succeed
- Fully Qualified Maths Teacher with UK QTS
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and motivating students
- A commitment to creating a positive learning environment and supporting student progress
- Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel will assist if required)
