What might a typical day look like? Well, you could be launching new digital resources, coordinating the delivery of study skills sessions, ordering materials for our art shop, and working in one of our LRCs to make sure it’s welcoming, accessible and giving great customer service.
Our LRCs are there so that students learn beyond the classroom. They provide sessions on revision, research and study skills, as well as online resources, digital support, and loads of advice tailored to students’ needs. But above all, they give brilliant customer service from people who really know their stuff.Your team of Digital Learning Resource Advisors provide support from our helpdesks, create new digital resources, supporting students and teachers to use them. You’ll be accountable for this service and the team of Advisors within it.
You’ll need to be passionate about online learning and digital innovation. Being organised is a must - you’ll facilitate a college-wide programme of activities and schedule your team across four LRCs. You’ll need to be resilient and have an enthusiastic, positive approach to work.A sound people manager, you’ll hold yourself and your team to high standards, so that every student gets great support and customer service. As your team works across different locations, it’s important to facilitate collaborative working using online platforms.
Some flexibility is needed, as there’s occasional evening work to support college events.
