Job overview

Training – two hours sessions

We are looking for exam invigilators /scribes to support our students during exam periods. Key responsibilities include providing invigilation for internal and external examinations, acting as a reader or scribe as required, and supervision of students using word processors.

The role includes both invigilation for whole year groups of students and support for individual students requiring reader/scribe, as necessary.

This role has variable hours which will be confirmed and agreed with the Examinations Officer. Most exams are taken in November, December, May and June so availability during these times is essential. For more information please see the Job Description of the Twyford Trust website (link below).

We regularly seek to appoint exam invigilators, so we can arrange a start date to suit the successful candidates. There will be some training to attend beforehand.
Ealing Fields High School, Ealing
Ealing Fields High School was opened as a Free School in 2016, and became part of the Twyford CE Academies Trust on 1 September 2017. Ealing Fields has quickly assimilated the same systems and resources as the established Twyford Trust schools (William Perkin and Twyford CE High Schools, both of which are Ofsted ‘Outstanding’).
Ealing Fields is the smallest of the Trust schools, with only 120 in each year group and therefore has a very compact community identity. The school now has five-year groups (7 - 11), totalling 639 students, and the staff community, though still small, is very positive and highly motivated.
The Twyford Trust
The Twyford Trust comprises four schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Trust was established in October 2011 to enable an existing School, Twyford CE High School, to build on its successes and look outward to the large number of parents who were eager to become part of its community.
The Twyford Trust aims to deliver outstanding education in a comprehensive school setting, and embraces the Twyford School motto ‘Life in all its fullness’, encouraging students to use their individual gifts wisely and well. Supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools (LDBS), the Trust is the overarching organisation which provides support for all Trust schools.
The Trust has a highly evolved common curriculum which has been devised by staff within the four schools. The Trust is also the hub of a Teaching School Alliance and prides itself on the standards of peer-led CPD within a dynamic culture of self-improvement.
