Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator to support our client, a forward-thinking Marketing, Design and PR agency. As Content Creator, you will be responsible for social media management, as well as hands-on content creation specialising in video production and graphic design.
Ideally, as Content Creator you will have a minimum of two years' experience in social media management and content creation, with a strong understanding of relevant software and programmes used. Your CV will also demonstrate your creative abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute engaging social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube)
  • Create compelling video content, including short-form videos, reels and longer format content
  • Design visually appealing graphics and marketing materials using Canva and similar design tools
  • Manage and grow our social media presence through consistent, high-quality content
  • Track and analyse social media metrics to optimise content performance
  • Stay current with social media trends and platform updates
  • Collaborate with team members to align social media content with marketing objectives
  • Develop content calendars and scheduling plans
  • Engage with followers and maintain community management

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of experience in social media management and content creation
  • Proven track record in creating engaging video content
  • Proficiency in video editing software and tools
  • Expert-level knowledge of Canva and other graphic design platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and algorithms
  • Experience with content planning and scheduling tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative storytelling ability
  • Basic photography and videography skills
  • Advanced knowledge in using AI
  • Canva Pro
  • Video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar)
  • Social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Adaptable to changing trends and platform updates
  • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field
  • Additional certifications in social media marketing or content creation are a plus
