Sales Development Representative

We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. The position will be based in our London office and reporting to our Head of Sales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Research and analyse segments, verticals and geographies of the global payment market
- Lead generation:
- Processing leads obtained through CJ website;
- Participate in promotions and marketing programs;
- Market through LinkedIn;
- Use industry websites;
- Utilize other ways to generate leads;
- Working with leads:
- Managing the leads pipeline;
- Understanding potential client’s business and its needs;
- Presenting CJ products (solutions, services) to a potential client;
- Confirm interest in CJ products;
- Qualifying a lead into an opportunity;
- Working with opportunities. Onboarding clients.
- Arrange filling in starting forms and questionnaires by a client;
- Entering additional info on client business into the SuiteCRM system;
- Collaborate with a Client Services Manager or Sales Engineer (when the latter position is introduced) during client onboarding
- Serve as an intermediary between the Risk and Compliance Department and a client during due diligence.
- Act as a first line of defence with respect to AML, FinCrime and sanction risk- and compliance-related issue
- Work closely with Head of Sales as well as with the Marketing Team
- Maintaining records and documentation. Ensure maximum utilization of the CRM system
Requirements
About you:
- Eager to start your career in FinTech/Payments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A can-do attitude, who can identify potential prospects and sometimes create and run outreach campaigns
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the firm professionally and tactfully.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and curious team player able to translate technical capabilities into customer value
- Degree, Masters or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is a plus
