About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in the dynamic fields of health tech or med tech.

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work onsite in Bolton, collaborating closely with clinical teams, developers, and other key stakeholders to support the design and delivery of advanced laboratory software solutions that make a real difference in healthcare.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from end-users and stakeholders.
  • Support the mapping of complex clinical workflows into functional software features.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and track outcomes and feedback.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure functional and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assist in the creation of user guides and training materials.
  • Provide support and training to users in clinical and laboratory environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements and development of new features.
  • Help ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data protection standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A degree in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Genuine interest in healthcare or medical technologies—prior experience (e.g., internships) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), clinical systems, or healthcare workflows is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, concise communication and documentation abilities.
  • Comfortable working in clinical or lab-based settings.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Confluence is an advantage.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
