Marketing & Communications Assistant

Location: St Faith’s School, Cambridge
Salary: From £14,985 (pro rata)

Contract: Part-time (minimum 20 hours per week), 43 weeks per year

St Faith’s School, a leading co-educational independent prep school in Cambridge, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our vibrant and collaborative Marketing and Admissions team.

The Role

As Marketing & Communications Assistant, you will play a key role in implementing the school’s digital marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Admissions, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging content across multiple platforms.

Your work will showcase the life of the school, its values, events, achievements, and community to a wide range of audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and editing content for social media, blogs, news stories and the school website
  • Producing and sourcing photography and video content to maintain a rich digital media library
  • Managing and growing the school’s social media presence with consistent and compelling posts
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of recruitment and admissions events
  • Coordinating with external agencies and designers to produce branded marketing materials
  • Assisting with alumni relations through event coordination and newsletter production
  • Conducting research into awards and managing entries to support the school’s national reputation

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a creative eye, and strong attention to detail. You’ll be digitally fluent, ideally with experience in digital marketing and content production. You may be a recent graduate with relevant experience, or an experienced professional looking to work flexibly in a rewarding environment.

Desirable qualities include:

  • Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital ad platforms
  • Strong photography, videography and editing skills
  • A collaborative, adaptable mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for school life
