We are seeking an enthusiastic and inventive User Experience (UX) Learning and Development Specialist to join the centralised UX Learning & Development team, within the Group Technology Function. The role can either be remote or based within one of the UK offices, The role will be a fixed term contract lasting 16 months.

DWF is undergoing its most exciting period of change to date, with investment being made across all aspects of our technologies, systems, and processes with the aim of making us one of the most innovative legal businesses in the world. Join our team and work with us as we move towards a significant upgrade of our case management system Sharedo, which will impact a large majority of colleagues in the business, this role will be at the forefront in supporting with this.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive company-wide training programme for the upgraded Sharedo system that aligns with our strategic goals and targets: includes process documents and guides, presentations and online courses using our learning management system (LMS)
  • Working alongside the UX L&D team to identify evaluation opportunities that can feed into future training delivery, as well as promoting potential system or process improvements.
  • Establishing working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, facilitating the ongoing establishment of any system training needs.
  • Aligning with the strategic Training & Compliance framework of the team, including completion of all necessary stages of governance.
  • Ownership of certain Case management training programmes and seeking to prevent dependencies through cross-skilling with the team.
  • Constantly striving for the continuous improvement of the overall team strategy across its five areas which are centralisation, accessibility, empowerment, innovation and performance.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

Essential
  • Very strong IT skills and high competency in using the Microsoft Office package.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with negotiation, persuasion and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and with the team to deliver on all promises.
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy with previous experience with creativity in a previous role.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and information to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Looking for you to have a background of working within an L&D or IT or similar function at a large organisation.
Desirable
  • Understanding of the structure of a legal business
  • Previous role in a professional services business
