• Manage all financial aspects of project work, ensuring the most efficient use of resources.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and control income, cash flow and expenditure.
• Prepare VAT return
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate auditing processes and ensure transparency in all financial operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide finance department staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a finance management position within the not-for-profit sector.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Sound knowledge of VAT rules pertaining to a charity
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial software.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
