Medical Secretary - Billingham
The role will be 8 hours per week, which can be worked over one day or two to suit you.
Our fantastic hospital holds an Outstanding CQC rating, providing care and treatment for up to 50 adults experiencing enduring mental health illnesses and behaviours that may challenge. Treatment and care pathways are formulated, delivered, and reviewed by a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, and this will be underpinned by the support of an experienced Medical Secretary.

Previous medical (mental health) secretarial experience
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Excellent computer skills (particularly MS office package)
Excellent audio skills
Sound written and verbal communication skills
NEED TO DOProvide high quality secretarial service to Consultant Psychiatrist
Ensure accurate typing of reports dictated by the Consultant Maintain confidential medical records accurately and securely
Taking minutes, plus attending and arranging meetings when required
Taking phone calls and messages
Dealing with emails and other forms of post
Managing medical diaries
Creating, updating, and managing spreadsheets and medical databases
