If you want to make a difference to mental health care in Kent and Medway, and gain experience of being a non-executive NHS board member, we have an exciting opportunity available.

We are looking for a talented person who can bring strategic vision, and robust oversight and challenge to key areas where we want to continuously improve. In particular:
  • Building trusted, enduring and innovative collaborations with local partners to improve services and outcomes for people
  • Involving patients, carers and communities to work alongside our staff to drive improvements in what we do

We invite applications from people with demonstrable senior experience in the third sector, community and/or social care organisations, or who have valuable life experience and personal motivation in advocating for those affected by mental ill health.

We recognise that diverse boards make the best decisions, and so we want our board to truly reflect the diversity of the people we serve.

Prior board experience is not essential. We provide training and development and will support the successful candidate to build their personal and professional capability.
