As a Deputy Nursery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Monitoring Tapestry to ensure children meet their developmental goals
Assisting the manager with the running of the nursery & completing weekly rotas
Ensuring safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Supporting the team to deliver excellence, including supervision and training plans
Room based role with some office-based duties

We’re looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager with the following skills and experience:

At least Level 2 Early Years or degree/equivalent & previous experience in a similar role
Management experience and can manage a room as well as being deputy
Excellent knowledge of EYFS & valid DBS (update service) or willing to complete one
Someone who’s been acting deputy for 6 months to a year would be considered
Positive, empathetic, confident, smart, motivated, kind and compassionate attitude
The ability to lead and inspire practitioners and be a true team member

In return, the successful Deputy Nursery Manager will receive a salary of up to £31,750 plus the following benefits…
