Payroll Specialist Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organisation who need ongoing payroll support. This position will be for a minimum of 12 months and requires an immediate start in March.
Your new role- Support the Senior Finance and Payroll Officer in maintaining and improving the finance and payroll system.
- Liaise with various departments on ERP system usage, including communication and coaching of staff.
- Ensure accurate onboarding of new partners, including data entry and payroll documentation.
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for partners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Develop understanding of employee payroll and deputise for finance and payroll officers during absences.
- Maintain accurate payroll records for compliance and financial control.
- Act as a contact for payroll queries, resolving issues and escalating as needed.
- Ensure accurate recording and calculation of pension contributions, liaising with external stakeholders to meet obligations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have extensive experience in payroll and finance roles, effectively communicating team targets, allocating work, and ensuring quality outputs.In-depth knowledge of payroll and pensions, advising both internal and external customers. With skills including reconciling payroll control accounts, resolving discrepancies, and working independently to find solutions.
With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will manage relationships with diverse stakeholders. Excelling with organisational and time management skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
AAT qualified or working towards a professional accounting or payroll qualification (CIPP).
