Teaching Assistant
Catholic Partnership Supply Service (CPSS) are looking to appoint a talented teaching assistant in the city centre area of Birmingham to start ASAP, working 3-4 full days per week.
The job is a role is working closely with the year 5 teacher offering a mixture of 1:1 and general class teaching assistant support. The 1:1 work will require a TA with experience of supporting speech and language and phonics. Also support with emotional and social well being, communication, mental health.The general TA element to your role with include offering and maths and English intervention to year 4 and 5 pupils. Primary classroom experience is essential for this role.
CPSS have an outstanding track record of helping teaching assistants launch or relaunch their careers. We work with newly qualified teaching assistants and teaching assistants in between jobs.
Qualifications we will consider:
Teaching assistant related (level 2+)University graduates
Childcare related (level 2+)
Health and social care related (with either school experience or basic knowledge of phonics)
Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience
