- Be able to build and maintain positive relationships with young people and strategic partners.
- Be willing to undertake corporate and bespoke training when required
- Be able to write reports and meet deadlines
- Have knowledge of relevant legislations including Youth Engagement & Progression Framework.
- Be enthusiastic and committed
- Have good communication and listening skills
- Plan and organise youth work programmes.
- Manage a small caseload, to provide individual support to vulnerable young people.
- Record, monitor and evaluate youth work activities.
- Write reports and case studies.
- Supervise and provide advise to colleagues.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
