We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Winchester, Hampshire for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Accent.
This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week, 11:30am to 8.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, Monday to Fridayterm-time only.
Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will
mainly consist of:
- general kitchen duties
- putting away deliveries
- Putting cardboard through the compactor
- Polishing cutlery
- serving, cleaning and washing up
- ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitised in line with health regulations
- Moping the floor
- Using chemicals
- speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
- undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
