Role Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at CHC Helicopter. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Mechanic will be part of our strong professional maintenance team. The team are responsible for delivering our multi type fleet of Helicopters to the flight line to help our customers achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Mechanic are:

  • Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance to our S92 and EC175 Helicopter fleet as part of the Aberdeen engineering team.
  • Accurate documentation of maintenance carried out within the scope of their approval.
  • Ensure that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
  • Ensure that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisions.
  • Ensure all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control.
  • Must observe employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policy within their area.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of Rotary wing aircraft preferably within the Oil and gas environment although other types and relative experience will be considered.
  • An awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
  • Be computer literate - experience of AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential.
  • Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work well within a high performing team.

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Candidates will also be required to pass Psychometric evaluations and be able to pass a UK security background check and a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass.
