Design and Technology Technician (Part-time, Fixed term for 1 year initially).
The Design and Technology Technician has an essential role in the successful working of the Design and Technology Department, working as part of a team, under the direction of the Head of Department. The technician is responsible for all of those ancillary services which supplement the actual teaching of Design and Technology.
A flexible approach to prioritising work as needs arise is essential. Some aspects of the work are more creative, while others are more basic and all are vital to the good running of the Curriculum Area.

The post is part time, 2 days a week, Monday and Tuesday, Fixed Term, in the first instance, with the possibilty of Full-Time in the future (subject to review).
Actual salary £8,284-£8,602pa dependant on experience.
