As we continue to build upon our success, we are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and qualified English Teacher to join our team in September 2025.
The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and a desire to help students achieve their full potential.
As part of our supportive department, you will have access to continuous professional development and be encouraged to bring creative ideas to the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Develop and implement engaging, challenging, and inclusive lesson plans
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them improve
- Support and guide students both academically and personally
- Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
- Contribute to the development of the English department and the school’s overall academic success
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A relevant degree (e.g., English, English Literature) and a recognized teaching qualification (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (experience with GCSE English is preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
