We are looking for an International Recruitment Coordinator to support with the co-ordination of the full recruitment lifecycle for overseas professionals. This key role ensures that candidates are fully supported throughout their recruitment journey and onboarding pre and post arrival at the Trust.

You will offer essential pastoral care to international recruits, ensuring a smooth and effective transition to life and work in the UK. By providing guidance and support, you'll help them integrate into their teams and foster positive relationships within their department or ward.

In addition to this, you will support the Resourcing Manager to coordinate the Certificates of Sponsorship (COS) and visa renewal processes, as well as managing the DBS recheck process.

Whilst the Trust supports hybrid working, due to the nature of this job role there would be a requirement to be based on site and not work from home.

Essential criteria
  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent experience (3)
Desirable criteria
  • HR related professional qualification, or working towards this eg CIPD

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial administration experience
  • Strong customer focus with experience in a role that involves interface with individuals
  • Experience of engaging with a range of third parties to solve problems and issues
  • Experience of co-ordinating events/campaigns
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of co-ordinating recruitment activity, including overseas recruitment
  • Knowledge of the immigration requirements for individuals coming to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of recruitment related aspects of employment legislation and compliance required eg for pre employment checks

Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of health service resourcing trends and challenges
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (3)
  • Good relationship management/rapport building skills
  • Able to adopt a sensitive and compassionate approach to dealing with individuals
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Able to interpret and analyse data skills
Desirable criteria
  • Familiar with OSCE Training Programmes and their implementation within NHS Trusts
  • Knowledge of the immigration requirements for individuals coming to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of the recruitment related aspects of employment legislation and compliance required eg for pre employment checks
