Maintain self and team professionalism To support with putting diaries on for GPs & all clinical staff Book locum GPs when requested by the Deputy Practice Manager Keep the Deputy Practice Manager informed of any matters arising or potential problems Rotas, availability, changes for admin staff Paper/electronic workflow systems Attend meetings when necessary with the Deputy Practice Manager Provide Induction and training for new reception staff Ensure practice policies are followed and accurate records are kept particular reference to appointments, messages, visits patient registration repeat prescribing, births deaths etc Report IT problems Report maintenance faults i.e. lights, doors, building issues as necessary to NHSPS (NHS Property Services) Ensure communications system are running smoothly and that reception staff are kept fully informed of changes and procedures Be conversant with Practice Fire Regulations The above list of duties is not exhaustive and may be subject to change as deemed necessary.
