Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, energetic Team Support Manager to join our growing under 5’s provision. The postholder will be part of newly formed 0-5 North London Foundation Trust (NLFT) CAMHS, Tri-Borough Under 5’s Pathway specialist team that offers therapeutic support to families during pregnancy or with infants, toddlers or children under the age of five years old.The service offer is delivered within community settings such as Family Hubs as well as the CAMHS clinic.
We are looking to recruit an individual with experience of working with healthcare professionals, or the aptitude to learn quickly operational management of NHS services. The role is well suited to someone with clinical experience in a mental health setting.

The post is based at St.Ann's in Haringey, but this is a Tri-borough service so travel to other sites will be required.
This is a full time (37.5 hours) permanent position.

Main duties of the job
The Team Support Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and operational delivery of the service. You will be working in partnership with the Integrated Service Lead, Clinical Lead and Senior Clinicians, to ensure excellent standards are maintained within the team, and ensure the best use of available resources by delivering positive outcomes for individual service users and their families.The postholder will also be responsible for the contributing to the continued development of the service, working in line with the principles of the under 5 team. Other responsibilities are to ensure the service operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system with CYPMHS

Detailed job description and main responsibilities- Under the direction of the Service Lead to be responsible for leading and managing a modern, efficient mental health community service for a defined population in accordance with commissioned services.
- With the support of the Integrated Service Lead and Clinical Lead, to lead and manage the delivery of high quality effective evidence-based interventions which lead to positive outcomes for service users and carers.
- To lead by example, motivating and empowering others and promoting positive attitudes, mutual understanding and collaboration between all services involved in the care process.
- To ensure close working relationships and protocols with other internal and external services, encouraging their involvement in the planning and provision of the care plan, through effective liaison roles between Trust services and the commissioners.
- Dependent on the team location, to ensure relevant contributions are made by the team to the effective management of Trust estate and facilities.
- To organise, manage and circulate rotas relevant to the effective running of CAMHS, including: annual leave, Duty, self-harm, and the on-call doctor
- To ensure appropriate compliance with Trust policies in relation to people management activities. These include management and oversight of recruitment and selection activity, effective sickness and attendance management and the application of standards in relation to conduct and performance at work as well as undertaking regular practice and management supervision.
- To ensure ongoing completion of staff appraisals and that all team members have a job plan and appraisal in line with Trust Policy.
- To ensure that all staff fulfil the requirements of statutory & mandatory training
- To undertake investigations into complaints from service users and carers, untoward incidents and staffing matters, preparing reports as needed and working in partnership with others to meet required deadlines.

Essential criteria- Educated to degree level in healthcare or business
- Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Leadership and / or Management Qualification
- Registered professional qualification, nurse, OT, social worker, Psychologist or therapy, with a registered governing body.
Experience
Essential criteria- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with healthcare professionals and or previous experience in the NHS or social care or relevant field
