About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administration Assistant to join the University Estates and Campus service team. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role within the established team to provide the focal point of communication with Estates Services and across the University for internal and external customers.As the first point of contact, you will provide general and technical administrative support to Estate Services including Estates Services Helpdesk, Reception, Car Parking, and general campus matters in a professional, prompt and efficient manner.
About you:
Applicants for this role must have extensive experience of providing administrative support to a large multi-disciplinary team delivering a customer focused service, demonstrable experience of document management, operating filing systems and developing and administering support procedures.
Additionally, applicants must hold a range of GCSE's or appropriate equivalent, including English Language and Maths (minimum grade C/grade 4) or significant experiential learning and a Microsoft qualification or similar in use of spreadsheets/word processing.Applicants must also possess excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, have excellent communication skills both orally and written and be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to see tasks through to completion.
