Warehouse Manager

Salary: Minimum £38,700

As Warehouse Manager, you will report directly to the company supervisor and be responsible for coordinating all warehouse activities, including receipt, assembly, and dispatch of goods. You will oversee an efficient workflow that aligns with the company's goals and environmental standards.

• Coordinate and oversee the receipt, assembly, and dispatch of goods, optimising warehouse space and equipment use.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy in inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate the implementation and use of automated and computerised inventory systems.
• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including pallet repairers, forklift drivers, and pallet sorting workers.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and security standards across warehouse operations.
• Meet or exceed weekly productivity targets and ensure quality and budgetary standards.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company policies and vision to guide warehouse operations effectively.

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar managerial role.
• NVQ/SVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent in warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in warehouse coordination, inventory management, and staff supervision.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to uphold and promote safety and security standards within the warehouse environment.
