Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and Teaching Assistant
Split Role of Teaching Assistant 3 days a week and ELSA 2 days a week.At Darley Dene, we are looking for an ambitious teaching assistant who would like to gain the accreditation to become an emotional literacy support assistant. We have the opportunity for someone to join our support staff team, working in our classrooms for three days a week and beginning their training and work as an ELSA for two days per week.Darley Dene Primary is a one form entry nursery and primary school in Addlestone Surrey with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit.
In addition to Primary and Nursery provision, we have a Specialist Centre for Learning and Additional Needs (LAN) for children aged 4-7 years. The main duties and responsibilities of both job roles are included in the job descriptions attached to this advertisement along with a person specification giving details of the skills, qualifications and experience required for these roles.Training will be provided but any experience working with children who are experiencing personal challenges would be beneficial.We have a strong reputation for working collaboratively with other local schools and are constantly on the look-out for opportunities to enhance our provision.

Working Hours are – 31.65 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year) to be worked Monday to Friday.- 30am - 3.20pm
