School Receptionist

A short-term temporary School Receptionist vacancy has arisen at a secondary school in Cheadle. A well established school with over 800 full-time students, the school is a modern and well-equipped learning environment.

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

• Answering and making phone calls
• Communicating effectively with other office staff
• Liaising with parents
• Welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling appointments for students, parents and staff
• Handling ingoing and outgoing mail
• Assisting with administrative duties
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues

Key Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience of the above duties
• Previous experience of working within a school environment, particularly in a school office or reception
• At least one year of receptionist experience
• Knowledge and understanding of key health and safety issues
• A well presented and professional attitude to work, with excellent phone manner

Candidates will have to provide adequate references and will be subject to relevant police checks.
