Teaching Assistant Needed in Sunderland
Contract: Part-time, starting after February half-term until Easter (potential to extend until July 2025)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Sunderland. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 2.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Requirements:
✔️ Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children.✔️ Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is desirable.
✔️ A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
