Technical Maintenance Team Leader
What you'll bring to the team:
We’re on the lookout for a Technical Services Team Leader, responsible for the day to day maintenance of show equipment, rides, theming, and the facility, based at our Southbank attractions (SEA LIFE London, London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure).Who wouldn’t want a job where you can experience being part of a fairy-tale, explore London’s murky past and where sharks and penguins watch on as you go about your daily work!
As Team Leader, you will take responsibility for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and rides are maintained to the required standard with minimal down time to create the highest possible quality of experience for all visitors. You must also ensure compliance with all safe systems of work and risk assessments and ensure through effective and proactive maintenance programs that all systems operate efficiently, effectively, and safely.
As and when required you will fully support other attractions within the London cluster and work closely with technical management to drive the key performance indicators. You will effectively manage the resource available, to manage and control the work order and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) maintenance system.

This role is Full Time, Permanent, averaging 37.5 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
What we are looking for…- At least 5 years of experience in a technical maintenance role (mechanical or electrical engineering).
- Over 2 years of experience in team leadership or management, ideally with a focus on people development.
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to minimum of an Apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent,
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate and excellent communication skills
- Strong Health, Safety and Security background
- Drive initiatives that improve team efficiency and the quality of work
- Attend technical training to develop skills and actively support other Apprentices, Improvers and Engineers to broaden their skill range and show flexibility by working within the ride environment.
