Teaching Assistant (SEN)

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Blackpool starting in January.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing learning resources and activities, supporting children both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, and effectively managing behaviour to ensure an optimal learning environment.

• Working Hours: 8:45am - 3:45pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing

• Previous experience supporting children in a school setting is essential.
• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year is preferred, although training can be provided.

• Hold the right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.

• Free accredited CPD courses, including Safeguarding and Behaviour Management.
• Access to in-house Training and Development support.
