Being a Community Hub Care Assistant…

The shift pattern for this role is Tuesday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm

This role is based in Ilkley - less than 5 minutes walk from the train station with direct trains from Leeds and Bradford Forster Square. There is also a direct bus service (number 62) from Keighley.

You will establish and maintain Abbeyfield The Dales as a leading provider of high quality person-centred care and support for those accessing the service.

Promote independence at all times for those utilising our facilities.

Ensure an effective, individual and person centred care planning process is in place which enables people to participate in the planning and delivery of the service to meet their individual needs.

Build positive relationships with those accessing the service, residents, relatives, staff, volunteers, external professionals and other stakeholders for the benefit of the service and to enhance the quality of life for all who utilise the service.

Develop and maintain a healthy waiting list for the Community Hub and lead and organise promotion of the service in the community.

A good command of spoken and written English is essential for this role
