Leading Health Safety and Environmental within Manufacturing Engineering

Salary: Up to £70,000 p.a. + Bonus + SLT Package

This innovative manufacturing and engineering business in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead our commitment to a safe, sustainable, and compliant working environment.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with company, legal and industry standards, working closely with the HSE Executive.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Deliver training and coaching to promote a proactive HSE culture across the workforce.
- Manage environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Proven experience in a Health, Safety & Environmental management role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience of managing general RA's, DSEAR, Fire RA's, Task based RA's, PUWER programs, COSHH, DSE, and Manual Handling RA's.
- In-depth knowledge of UK HSE regulations and standards within a high risk manufacturing and engineering based environment.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and driving positive change within HSE culture.
