Catering role (chefs and catering assistants)
We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants and a Chef de Partie to join our passionate and driven Catering team at Bristol Grammar School asap.
The catering assistant role involves assisting with the washing up during and after lunch service, keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy and to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 12.30 - 4.30pm (20 hours per week), term time only.
The main duties of the chef de partie role will be to assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen taking particular responsibility for food production and standards, kitchen maintenance and the health and safety of staff, and help motivate the kitchen team to achieve their best standard.They will also deputise for the Sous Chef in their absence. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm (37.5 hours per week), term time only.
