Group Reporting and Planning Analyst
A listed energy business is recruiting for a Group Reporting and Planning Analyst on a 12 month contract, with high likelihood of extension given the volume of project and transformation led activity within the business. This is a highly visible role where the successful candidate will embed themselves within the group finance function, whilst having a focus on reporting, consolidations and FP&A.
As the Group Reporting and Planning Analyst, you will be:
- Responsible for the monthly group consolidations and reporting to the Group Controller, assisting in Board reporting
- Responsible for the planning and analysis cycle for one commercial entity, with a focus on quarterly forecasting and commercial performance
- Consolidating results from the wider group
- Delivering technical expertise across reporting under IFRS
- Inputting in to the quarterly and annual reporting process to external stakeholders and markets
The ideal candidate will:
- ACA/CA qualified from a big 6 accounting practice
- Have at least 2 years post-qualified experience within reporting and technical finance roles
- Able to demonstrate strong experience with technical accounting under IFRS
- Have worked in energy, mining, natural resources, construction or manufacturing, essentially with a background in capital intensive businesses
- Able to communicate at all levels of a matrix structure business and have a background in international organisations
- Be able to do some minor travel to Europe
