Maths and English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths and English Teacher to join our highly esteemed school in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced team in a nurturing environment where students are empowered and encouraged to succeed.

• Teach Maths and English to secondary school students following the UK curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
• Support students in their academic growth, offering tailored educational frameworks.

• Location: Southampton
• Position: Maths and English Teacher
• Contract Type: Temp to Perm
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time
• Pay: Competitive salary, ranging from £160 - £220 per day
• Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, plus parents' evenings

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year's teaching experience in a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last year).

• Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online update service) or willingness to process a new application.
• Two professional references related to teaching.

• Free, accredited professional development courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
• Continuous in-house training and development opportunities.
