Supervising Solicitor- Housing

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Law Centre based in South London for a Supervising Solicitor – Housing.

This is a permanent role with salary guidance at £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.

You will be an energetic and passionate lawyer, with broad housing or community care casework and representation experience. You will be capable of being a legal aid category supervisor in either area, with the confidence to lead and develop the existing team and make a real difference to the community.

To apply you will be:

• A UK-qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive
• Experienced in handling housing matters including litigation
• Confident to manage a small team of paralegals and casework officers
• Able to work in the office in South London 5 days per week – although some remote working may be possible
• Available on no more than a 2-month notice period

The client is able to support a range of flexible working arrangements, including those looking for part-time. They have a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per calendar year.
