Maths Teacher
Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Maths Teacher to join a highly respected specialist school in the Cambridge area, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. The school caters to autistic children and young people aged 5–19 and focuses on providing a calm, consistent, and safe atmosphere. With a strong emphasis on maintaining daily routines and stable staffing, the school ensures students feel secure and confident in their learning environment.The teaching staff work collaboratively to offer individualised support tailored to each student's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and adaptive maths lessons that meet the needs of students with autism.
- Maintain a structured and consistent learning environment that reduces anxiety and promotes student confidence.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalised learning strategies.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches to support individual learning styles.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students, particularly those with autism.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and an ability to make learning accessible and enjoyable.
- A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to working with students who require additional support.
