Managing Director of Non Clinical operations

Are you a visionary leader passionate about transforming business operations and driving growth? We are looking for an experienced Managing Director of Non-Clinical Operations to oversee and shape the future of our Data Management, Medical Writing, and Pharmacovigilance departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to ensure operational independence for Data Management, Medical Writing, and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Align the goals of these departments with the overall mission and vision of the company.
  • Lead business model transformation efforts, including organizational restructuring, process redesign, and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft and implement go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  1. Business Development
  • Create and drive the commercial strategy to foster revenue growth, expand market presence, and differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, aiming to grow the client base for each department.
  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients and stakeholders.
  1. Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all three departments, ensuring top-tier deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement to further enhance client experiences and service delivery.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and professional development.
  • Ensure the team remains high-performing, engaged, and equipped to meet evolving business challenges.
  1. Financial Management
  • Develop, manage, and track departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and aligned with company goals.
  • Regularly monitor financial performance and take corrective actions when needed to ensure business sustainability.
  1. Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure all activities within the departments comply with relevant industry regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust departmental processes as needed to remain compliant.
  1. Performance Monitoring
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure progress toward both departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and Executive Board to keep leadership informed on progress and achievements.

  • A proven leader with extensive experience in managing non-clinical operations (Data Management, Medical Writing, Pharmacovigilance).
