Look no further here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for our busy manufacturing client based in Aldershot. They are looking for an experience machine operator to join their moulding department.

This is a great role for someone looking to expand their career & join a long standing established company on a temp to perm basis.

• Running the press to controlled specifications & ensuring it runs to company standards.
• General machine operative duties.
• Keep the production area/warehouse clean, tidy & safe
• Work inline with all health & safety regulation.
• Quality check production products, report any machine issues or quality issues/defects to supervisor.
• Be a proactive member of staff to help ensure the operation runs smoothly.
• Be flexible during times when the business may need support in other areas (Such as holiday cover) Which could mean helping out in different departments.

• Previous machine operative experience.
• A good understanding of health & safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
• Live in or within a commutable distance of Aldershot.
• Must be able to work on your feet all day & be okay with manual handling such as lifting, bending, crouching, pushing and pulling.
• Must have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.
• Be someone with a can do attitude.
• Be someone who is a self starter & able to work indepentently but also able to collaborate and work efficiently as part of a well oiled team.

• 40hrs per week
• Monday – Thursday (no work on Fridays!)
• 07:30 am - 18:00pm
• Over time may be offered during busy times.
• 30 min unpaid lunch break & 2 x 10 min paid breaks.
• £12.21 Holiday pay = £13.68 per hour.
• Perm contract to be discussed/ offered after working as a temp for 12 weeks. (Dependant on performance, timekeeping & sickness records)
