Registered Childrens Nurse, RN (Child), who holds effective registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Childrens Nursing Degree or equivalent qualification/ evidenced experience.
Experience managing the nursing care of children with medically complex physical health needs across a broad range of settings. Experience of Childrens Community Nursing caseload management. Must be able to demonstrate staff management skills and good working knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Have an extensive working knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedures. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, across organisational and professional boundaries. Have a strong understanding of national policy in relation to the health and care of children and young people, including NICE guidelines.
Must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate and present complex information to a variety of internal and external audiences. Good analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from combinations of qualitative and quantitative information sources and present in a concise manner.
