Personal Assitant/Carer
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of this young man.
This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for a 42 year old male with disabilities, offering both physical and emotional support. You would be required to work in the family home.
You must be trustworthy, honest with a good sense of humour - to help bring out the best in the young man. No experience needed a willingness to learn and a bit of common sense is needed full training given to suitable candidate.
DutiesAdminister medication as prescribed and monitor for any changes in his health.
Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. eating. Assist in turning pages in newspapers
Prepare meals and beverages when needed
Assist with mobility and transfers with ceiling hoisting when necessary.
Engage client in daily activities
Maintain a clean and safe environment for client, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. keep everywhere clean and tidy after use.
Document daily care activities changes in client mood/health
QualificationsPrevious experience in a caring environment is helpful but not essential. Full training given. .
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, when liaising with the young man and his family.
