Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a passionate Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant who wants to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of supply work, whilst making an impact on young children's education.

As an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have a significant impact on the growth of pupils academically, socially and personally, during their first experience in education. If you have a strong commitment to supporting the development of young learners (particularly those with additional needs), we would love to hear from you.

Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant Responsilbities:
  • Good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum - particularly within Early Years
  • Have experience of supporting quality learning experiences for pupils and delivering small group work
  • Work with children of mixed abilities - espcially those with SEND on a 1:1 basis
  • The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and students
  • Showing initiative and asking for direction if needed
Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or teaching assistant experience in the classroom (e.g CACHE Level 3 Dipolma in childcare/ Early Years Development)
  • UK experience as a teaching assitant or working with young children
  • An enhance DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to complete a new DBS
