The Role
As an Assistant Manager - Audit, you will play a key role in managing audit assignments and supervising junior staff. You will be involved in delivering high-quality audit services, managing relationships with clients, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA professional with 2 years post-qualification experience to step into a more senior role and take on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and lead audits from planning to completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent service.
- Identify areas of risk and improvement, providing strategic audit recommendations.
- Review and approve the work of junior team members, ensuring audits are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with senior management to drive the overall success of the audit department.
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in audit.
- Experience managing audit assignments and leading teams.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Proactive with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in managing audits in line with applicable accounting standards.
