RAN Solution Architect

Wipro is looking for a RAN Solution Architect to work in the UK on a permanent basis

What you’ll do:

The RAN Solution Architect will be responsible for defining the technical requirements for RAN networks and will ensure that these requirements are met through the selection and implementation of the appropriate technology and equipment.

Other duties include:

• Acting as a Design authority for all the RAN components
• Custodian of HLD, LLD documents.
• Managing network performance both at system-wide level and site level
• Managing network configuration both at system-wide level and site level
• Managing Self Optimised Network system settings
• Manage and operate the configuration and performance of Network Virtual Functions
• Use Data Science and AI to automate Network Management functions
• Optimise system-wide performance as measured by system KPIs and as reported by customer support applications.
• Manage the technical communication with the partner ecosystem, technology and service suppliers

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of Producing End to End Solution Designs ideally in a telco environment.
• IP design skills e.g. CCNA/IP networking useful.
• Practical experience of designing/planning/ testing/ operating a 5G / LTE / 4G /2.5G / CS networks.
• Designing / Planning / Testing / Supporting any of the following services: VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoIP, MMS, SMS, Push to Talk, ESN, Content Based Billing, Mobile Content Delivery, Adult Content Filtering, IN Service design.
• Radio Access Network is needed, including inter-vendor mobility, QoS, and RAN architectures such as C-RAN and Open RAN.
